Two different SumView programs are available for optical imaging data evaluation. SumView5.m, generates single block and average block maps but is limited in its image analysis features. SumView6.m generates maps averaged over blocks but doesn’t make single block maps. However, this program contains many additional image map analysis options (e.g. filtering) not present in SumView5.m.
SumView calls several other matlab sub-routine functions the user does not need to modify.
Input Data
Optical imaging data should be either 32-bit or 16-bit integer DC type. SumView*.m can analyze the following data types:
| |
• |
CortiPlex data files (16-bit integer). |
| |
• |
Optical Imaging 3001VDAQ files (usually 32-bit integer). Optical Imaging data of previous formats should first be converted to the newer format. |
|
| Activation to finger stimulation of primate SI cortex stained with voltage sensitive dye. |
